Floating Islands
These islands are inhabited by the strangest people. They are not fae, nor animal, nor any known, classified creatures but are those who take the shape of what they will. Being peaceful they live in harmony but are not fearful to engage in war. Strong, tall, and proud yet kind and humble these people are an oddity all their own.
Globetrotters
For the traveler who likes to go round the world these are normally regular humans but you get an occasional dwarf, fae and other strange creatures who choose to travel. Globetrotters usually travel for life and have their homes on the backs of sea creatures from fish to whales to turtles. They are most famous, not for their traveling, but for their story telling and elaborations on the worlds they've seen.
Underwater Kingdoms
These kingdoms can be found all across the ocean, the biggest is right under the continent of Japan. They are filled mostly with merfolk but any creature who have proved themselves to the king or queen of the kingdom they can live underwater with no problem. Curious, creative, smart, warriors, and beautiful, none who breach the surface of the water are ever forgotten and have tales written about them. (If you were not born in the sea one of the challenges that you may be given to join a kingdom is collect seven kraken teeth which are magical and make beautiful jewelry for her highness)
Tree Villages
These homes are built for protection from ravenous creatures below. If you wish to live in this world you may be the creature most feared by the villagers or a villager. The predators look like wild cats, canis lupis, dragons, and anything that feed on flesh. The villagers are fairly kind but are very weak. They practice magic and are very good at it. Each village is defined by the elements. If you are a Salamander you would live in the Fiorre village and so on. They usually look like elves, tall and elegant but there are significant details such as their faces are more chiseled and they tend to have animal ears on their head and tails protruding from....well... you know. They are also very aerobatic.
Underground Caves and Caverns
Actually these caves are dull and boring looking until they become inhabited by magical creatures. Mostly caves for sea serpents there have been some caves with tunnels buried in their walls and when looking within their house a variety of creatures but are all about as big as your house to about the size of your thumb. Unfortunately the caves beauty lures people in and they are never seen again. Either they're eaten by the sea creatures or they got lost or even enchanted by the inhabitants and anything could have happened to them
Grave Keepers
Now those who live here are creepy and scary looking. However they could care less about you. They take pride in caring for tombstones and graveyard grounds that are only for magical creatures. Meeting a keeper if you're a mystical creature they can tell you your future though they usually don't tell you the bright points. If you meet a keeper and you're human, well..it was nice knowing you. The guard their graveyards with their life, which are very long.
Haunted Houses
You know, there's a reason these houses are called haunted. Anything with an evil spirit or soul can live in them. So if you're a ghost, ghoul, or anything scary, welcome home. These houses are usually passed down in the family and they're buried their own on the grounds. Unknown to humans ghosts can die and even be born as a ghost. (They just like to freak humans out)
